Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Svanaya (operated by MokMik Inc) collects, how it is used, who can see it, and what rights you have over it.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email address, login credentials, timezone, and (optionally) a profile photo.
• Entry content: your daily and periodic responses — Daily Checks, Ten Terrific Traits, Building Mental Muscle actions/practice, Saboteurs/Whirlpool/Black Holes reflections, Inventory ratings, Vision statement, Values & Priorities, Svadharma, and Monthly/Daily Reflection notes. Some of this content may touch on emotional or psychological themes as part of normal self-reflection mentoring work, though it is not collected as health information and Svanaya is not a healthcare provider.
• Usage data: timestamps of entries and logins, submission status (draft/submitted), and basic session activity needed to keep you securely logged in.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the mentoring tracker experience itself (saving your entries, showing your history, generating charts/reports).
• To let your mentor review your entries and prepare for mentoring sessions.
• To generate AI-assisted analysis and summaries (see "Third-Party Service Providers" below) that support your mentor's mentoring work.
• To send you optional reminder emails (if you've enabled them) and account-related notices (e.g., password changes).
• To maintain the security and integrity of the Platform.

We do not divulge or sell your personal information, and we do not use your entry content for advertising.

3. Who Can See Your Information

• You, for your own entries at any time.
• Your assigned mentor (MokMik Inc admin access), as the core function of the mentoring relationship.
• MokMik Inc personnel with legitimate operational need (e.g., technical support), on an as-needed basis.
• We do not share your entry content with other mentees, or with any third party for their own independent use.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We use a small number of third-party services to operate Svanaya. Each processes a limited slice of your data solely to provide their service to us, under their own terms:

• An AI language model provider — receives your entry content (typically anonymized to a first name/context, not full account credentials) to generate AI-assisted analysis and summaries for your mentor.
• Resend — used to send reminder and account-related emails; receives your email address and message content necessary for delivery.
• Render (hosting) — hosts the application and its database; has the technical ability to access the underlying infrastructure but does not use your data for its own purposes.
• GitHub — hosts the application's source code (not your entry data).

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a database on infrastructure hosted by Render. We use session-based authentication (a secure cookie) to keep your account access private.

MokMik Inc is based in India, and your information is processed and stored in India. If you are accessing Svanaya from outside India, you understand that your information will be transferred to, and processed and stored in, India, which may have data protection laws that differ from those of your own country. By using Svanaya, you consent to this transfer, processing, and storage.

6. Data Retention

We retain your entry content for as long as your mentoring engagement is active, and for up to 3 years afterward for continuity of the mentoring record, unless you request earlier deletion.

7. Your Rights

You may:

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your account and associated entries, subject to any legal or legitimate business retention need.
• Withdraw consent for optional features (e.g., reminder emails) at any time.

To exercise these rights, contact sadanand@mokmik.com. Deletion of any information may affect your mentoring experience and effectiveness; MokMik Inc may choose to end the engagement at its discretion.

8. Children's Privacy

Svanaya is not directed to, and is not knowingly used by, persons under the age of 21. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us so we can address it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to you via email.
